Rotary Cuff Clocks
The Round-the-Clock Wristwatch Counts the Seconds with Slick Style

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Feb 3, 12
{SummaryTitle}

Few timepiece manufacturers deviate from the usual aesthetic and assembly of their time-telling accessories, making simple solutions like the Round-the-Clock wristwatch seem surprisingly clever. The principle of a rotary dial has been used for generations in a number of everyday contraptions, although its execution in here is quite singular.

Koros Benedek has completely abandoned the circular face in favor of a system of three numerical bands that circumvolve the wearer’s wrist. One each represents the hour, the minute and the second and the collection of them are carefully encased behind glossy curved glass and fused against a burnished band of stainless steel. A single lateral stroke of black acts as the aligning indicator of the Round-the-Clock wristwatch so that you can keep track of the time with more direct precision than conventional chronographs provide.
