Robert Vackflores is a Chilean designer who may be making your commute safer and more efficient thanks to his ‘Control Traffic Light.’ This traffic light is designed to gradually change colors while displaying the maximum speed allowed.
Robert Vackflores’ Control Traffic Light is also connected into the crosswalk, using lights to protect pedestrians from speeding cars. These simple designs could help protect drivers from the all too common sudden red light rear-ending accident. Robert Vackflores may not be able to cure bad driving, but he can cure bad traffic lights.
