Cast Iron Tubs Become Funky Sofas

In the hands of Etsy designers from Ruff House Art, vintage cast iron bathtubs become fun and funky sofas. The recycled tubs have one side cut open, then they’re custom finished with brightly colored paint and fitted with coordinating fabric cushions.

According to owner of Ruff House Art and graphic designer Jill Morrison, her inspiration for the recycled bathtub came to her when she “was trying to come up with unique pieces of furniture for the ‘retro’ game room.” Be sure to check out the gallery for more photos.
