True Star Wars fans are probably foaming at the mouth over all of these quirky carbonite creations. For those of you who don’t know, carbonite is the magical material in which Han Solo was frozen in “Star Wars Episdoe V: The Empire Strikes Back.” The image of Han Solo with his hands and face pressed against the slab of carbonite has become an iconic one to say the least.

Han Solo being frozen in carbonite has led to the creation of everything from shoes to ice cube trays. Each of these quirky carbonite creations is awesome in its own way, but my favorite has to be the carbonite cakes. There is something strangely alluring about eating a carbonite cake.
