By: Lacey-Jane Walsh (Rockstar) May 6, 13

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is celebrating punk apparel this month, and with this is mind, photographer Steven Meisel did a rebel-inspired shoot for Vogue. British model Edie Campbell posed in tattered rocker gear and even sported some daring duct tape and newspaper pieces.

Edie’s hair and makeup look like they were inspired by Sid Vicious. She also rocks some facial piercings in this incredible punk piece.

Extreme punk fashion is making a comeback; after all, sometimes it’s fun to be bad! Between all the leather and black eye-liner, these loud and in-your-face looks capture what it is to be punk. After flipping through these bold and defiant shots, its easy to see why the Metropolitan Museum is proud to celebrate punk fashion all month long!
