Proving their confidence in the creativity of growing artists, the highly-regarded Pera Museum in Istanbul made three floors of their institute available for the sake of ‘Present Times,’ an exhibit put together by young university students.

The Present Times (”Şimdiki Zamanlar” in Turkish) showcase is meant to reflects the impressions, ideas and innovation of three Anadolu University art students: Serkan Özer, Kadir Tavaz and Setenay Sipahi. The belief by museum curators that teens could fill an entire exhibit floor proved well-founded when each student explained their wild creations. From ceramic-clay ensembles that drag your attention to extinct and vulnerable species to an artificial riverbed that’ll remind you of the countryside, the Present Times exhibit was an incalculable smash hit!

With any luck, museums and art galleries will be more eager to pass the creative reigns onto younger, yet eager students.
