The Prescription Lottery Controversially Keeps Patients on Their Meds

Although the idea of a prescription lottery may sound silly, it is gaining some steam in the United States. Hospitals have countered patients’ forgetfulness with a prescription lottery in order to keep patients safe while saving costs if anything were to happen due to the lack of meds.
Patients are prescribed a computerized pill box and are entered into daily draws if they take their medication.
