Polish Paper Chandeliers
Colorful Art You Can Create Yourself

By: Jessica Marcel (Rockstar) Oct 17, 09
{SummaryTitle}

The word pajaki literally translates to “spiders of straw.” While that visual doesn’t give me happy thoughts, these Pajaki Polish paper chandeliers certainly do.

Polish paper chandeliers were a cheap way for 19th and 20th century Polish homemakers to decorate their abodes. Brightly colored tissue paper is used to create decorative floriffic pieces. It may take a lot of hours to make similarly beautiful paper chandeliers yourself, but the effort will definitely be worth it.
