Plaid Magazine 'Stone Angel' Editorial Stars a Wild Sam Ypma

The Plaid Magazine ‘Stone Angel’ editorial has a wolfish quality that appears to be inspired by the model’s two wild costars. Aside from the dark palette and fur pieces, model Sam Ypma herself takes on some of their features, from her piercing blue eyes to her pale skin and platinum blond hair. Perhaps in another lifetime she was a wolf.

Granted, the Canadian beauty had some help in that department thanks to hairstylist and makeup artist GinaLuca Orienti. Shot by Mike Lewis, a photographer based in Toronto, Canada, with impressive prop design by Jason MacIsaac for the Fall 2012 issue, the Plaid Magazine ‘Stone Angel’ editorial has a cold vibe that captures the essence of the winter perfectly.
