Intentionally Bad Photography Apps
Pixel Heritage By Virgin Mobile Adds Grainy Noise to Photos

{SummaryTitle}

Grainy, low resolution and poorly lit pictures can bring you back to your first ever cell phone camera with Virgin Mobile’s new app Pixel Heritage.

Remember when you first got a phone with a camera in it and realized how liberating it felt to be able to take pictures wherever you went? Remember that at one time, phones didn’t have cameras at all? Virgin Mobile does, which is why they designed this new app to create throwback photography as if you’re still shooting on an old Nokia.

The Pixel Heritage app is available only on the Windows phone and gives you the viewing screen similar to old Nokia phones. You hit the “capture” button in the bottom left when you’re ready to shoot and then add vintage effects to give it a year 2000 feel.
