Designed by Chris Trivizas, the Philab Cosmetics packaging is simplicity in the best form.

The company’s name is derived from the Greek letter ‘Phi,’ which is known as the “golden ratio.” Focusing on the symbol, the Philab Cosmetics boxes feature a deep off-cream color that pops out against the dark regal purple package.

Chris Trivizas’s Philab Cosmetics package design comprises four different categories: cleanse, protect, prevent and correct. Each category has a specific pattern for it. Cleanse has the pattern of a wave, which is symbolic of the purity of water and Protect is a cube. According to Trivizas, “It is a geometrical ‘hug,’ a basic symbolism of protection.” Prevent uses a simple pattern as it is an easy product to use and Correct is given a nature-inspired pattern, which creates an illusion of trees and healing.
