Unveiled at CES 2012, the ‘Personalized Content Rendering’ technology created by Technicolor may change the way we watch television and view content.
Technicolor’s Personalized Content Rendering actually allows users to control what he or she is watching. It uses a device to track eye movements so that you can control exactly what you want to see. For example, it allows you to pan the screen and zoom in on a scene to get more details. In this way, Technicolor’s technology enhances the viewer experience and makes watching things like sports games more interactive and panoramic.
According to PSFK, the Personalized Content Rendering technology still has many improvements to be made—for instance, the technology only accommodates one viewer so far—but the brand hopes it will be commercially available in the new couple of years.
