{SummaryTitle}

Katja Schenker’s ‘Mit Angewinkelten Beinen’ is one of the most holistic performance installations and is located at Kunstmuseum Olten. The artist has covered the exhibition space a plastic bags and flooded the floors with concrete and clay balls. “During her performance Schenker picked up sponges soaked with red, orange and yellow ink, transporting them through the halls of the museum, she left multiple traces on the soft and moving surrounding” explains iGNANT.

The use of color as a part of one’s performance is clever and engaging. The artist is clearly very devoted to her work and enjoys taking part at each step of the process. Though it looks like a pseudo-murder scene by the end, the admirably holistic performance set-up leaves dramatic traces of the powerful and emotive experience the audience witnesses.
