Architecturally Odd Art Installations
Alex Schweder's Performance Architecture Plays With Space

{SummaryTitle}

Art exhibits can be fun to look at, but Alex Schweder’s performance architecture installation in Cambridge is looking to provide a more interactive experience that will literally put art lovers inside of his one-of-a-kind installation.

One of the most exciting things about Schweder’s performance architecture is that many of his pieces are actually moving vessels meant to symbolically convey his distinct messages about the negotiations of space, family intimacy dynamics and even the geopolitics of nations.

All of Schweder’s performance architecture involves human interaction and some of his structures like ‘The Rise and Fall,’ a suspended platform made from wood and steel, actually shifts in mid-air depending on the combined movements of its occupants.
