Though PC Keith Waller’s pedal-powered car may not be suitable to catch every crook, the vehicle will be taking part in the British Pedal Car Grand Prix on July 11, 2010.
PC Keith Waller built his special car with a group of children at Ringwood Comprehensive School. The patrol car has a top speed of 20 mph and it costs far less than its motor-powered cousins.
The pedal-powered car features a Police logo, phone number, fluroscent battenburg panel, three tone siren and blue flashing light donated by local Police office. PC Keith Waller, who is a police officer, will drive the vehicle in the Grand Prix.
