Printed masterpieces in 3D are slowly overtaking the world, from architecture to ceramics and now, with the Pauline Van Dongen ‘Metamorphosis’ collection, fashion. A line of simple, stylish heels, Metamorphosis rings in a whole new future for the fashion industry.
Befittingly, the Pauline Van Dongen Metamorphosis line debuted at The Future of Fashion exhibition in Amsterdam. Created for Van Dongen’s master’s thesis at ArtEZ in Arnhem, Netherlands, the shoes are made out of powdered nylon, which has been fused together by a computer-generated laser.
