Tremendously Toothy Urban Art
Paul Insect and Sweet Toof Create Vibrant Works in Mexico City

By: Michael Hemsworth (Superstar) Apr 19, 13

During their visit to North America, British artists Paul Insect and Sweet Toof have created a series of graffiti works in Mexico City that are a touch infantile and a whole lot of fun.

The works are vibrant and toothy with a distinct blending of traditional Mexican art qualities with the awesome talent of Paul Insect and Sweet Toof, respectively. Making use of existing landscapes, these works transform windows into eyes and doorways into heads, which gives a certain personality to inanimate buildings. I find this form of graffiti to have an irresistible charm because it gives the city a face and a personality, which they can often lack.

If you’re around Mexico City, check out the work of Paul Insect and Sweet Toof which can be found in the Cholula district. If not, the snaps above will help give you a small taste.
