It’s amazing that Patches Lighting seems to embody such a casual concept, yet the complete fixture exudes a striking sense of class. Designed by the Coordination studio of Germany, the pendant lamp illuminates the room with its technological and aesthetic qualities alike.
At its core, the suspended light is made up of a long metal bar with bulbs embedded within it. This is then accessorized with bits of crooked red wire that protrude from along the length of the lamp in all different directions.
An easily creased translucent fabric is treated to the embedding of tiny magnets over its inner surface, allowing it to cling to the warped wires. Patches Lighting consequently expresses a somewhat haphazard arrangement that’s kept stylish by its expertly clean manufacturing.
