Getting one’s Facebook or Twitter hacked is a devastating breach of privacy, but with this infographic on helpful password strength one will never have to worry about this problem again. The average person has a total of six passwords to 25 sites.
The most common site to be broken into is LinkedIn with 6.5 million breaches recorded. In those breaches, the most common passwords were link, 1234, work and job. Surprisingly 40 percent of passwords only use lowercase letters and 30 percent use under six characters. If this were the case for you, it would take your computer ten minutes to crack the password. Swap it for a nine digit letter/number combo and it would take your computer 44,530 years to crack it.
