{SummaryTitle}

Following his recent eco initiative in London, artist and green-wall enthusiast Patrick Blanc is the face behind the Paris Vertical Garden project. The French artist’s passion for sustainability can be seen through his countless works that all feature green-wall installations and plant-infused facades.

The Paris Vertical Garden is no exception and transforms an aged city building facade at the intersection of Montorgueil / Reaumur Sebastopol and Great Boulevards into a living and growing garden.

This complex green-wall spans 25 meters in height and includes 7,600 plants from 237 different species that transform a gray city landscape into a eco urban environment. This vast garden facade produces oxygen, absorbs excess rainwater and regulates the temperature of its concrete building shell.
