Want to land a social media internships, or an online marketing role? Then you should get yourself a social resume.  A social resume allows you to connect with the thousands of recruiters and companies who are already online. The statistics speak for themselves. In 2012, 92% of employers used social media channels for recruiting purposes.

Around 93% of companies used LinkedIn to find their future interns or employees, followed by 66% who used Facebook and 54% of companies who used Twitter. Although LinkedIn is king in terms online job networking, there are other options. Sites like Ziggs, Visual CV and Razume all allow you to upload your resume in a visually compelling way that will impress potential employers, especially in social media marketing roles.
