The 2010 Olympics Opening Ceremony Outfits Don't Disappoint

While last night’s Vancouver 2010 Olympics dazzled in terms of production and artistry, it’s the Olympics Opening Ceremony outfits that I couldn’t help but notice. While each country always tries to match their team apparel to an aspect of their country’s culture, the ten countries above took things one step further to ascend into sartorial sainthood.

Take Bermuda, for example. Although Vancouver in February isn’t the first place you’d want to wear shorts, the Olympics Opening Ceremony outfits worn by the Bermuda contingent featured, well, Bermuda shorts. Montenegro went with McDonald’s red and yellow, complete with scarves emblazoned with the country’s name, while the Azerbaijan pants were a psychedelic mashup of color and patterns.
