Stop-Sign-Inspired Boxes
Nowhere To Go Packaging Brings a Sweeping Glance to a Standstill

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Mar 20, 13
{SummaryTitle}

Board game boxes are known for often having eye-catching graphics but Nowhere To Go packaging is likely to universally stop more surveying eyes as they sweep across toy store shelves. The reason for this is quite straightforward but incredibly clever.

Inspired by the way that the logic game is played (with each participant attempting to hop from orange platform to orange platform, and constantly discovering obstacles that halt them in their tracks), the board and carton were made to reference the widely recognizable hexagonal STOP sign. Vibrant illustrations and bold white arrows create a sense of confusion and misdirection that seize the consumer’s gaze and guide his eye around and around the cover.

The bold and contemporary image of Nowhere To Go packaging was illustrated by Mattson Creative for Educational Insights.
