{SummaryTitle}

It is important for governments to put money into public spaces in order to inspire love for one’s city in one of the most direct ways possible and the Noriega Street Parklet is a perfect example. A series of modern and minimalist wooden benches with mini built-in gardens, the Noriega Street Parklet doesn’t need to beg to have someone spend a little quality time with it.

Designed by Matarozzi Pelsinger Design + Build, the Noriega Street Parklet is located in San Francisco, California. Three of them were built to date, each one replacing a parking space. Sharply angular, the design creates a mini sanctuary to rest and relax in without blocking out the sights and sounds of the city being enjoyed.
