Gladiator sandals have been in and out of fashion for the past few years, and the Nike Gladiateur gives this super old-school fashion phenomenon a new spin.

The Nike Gladiateur shoe is half high-top running shoe, half gladiator sandal. I have no clue what inspired the Roman warrior-esque sneakers, but I would have loved to have seen Russell Crowe rock a pair in ‘Gladiator.’ Are you not entertained?
