Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t help but get the impression that modern coffee makers are beginning to take the shape space ships. This Nespresso Coffee Machine, on the other hand, embodies a much more familiar form.
Having said that, this design by Danna Kazir does not look exactly like anything I’ve seen before in the category of java filtering contraptions, yet one can quickly deduce its function just by looking at it. Its appearance seems to represent a contemporary version of the Bauhaus ideal.
A smooth and minimal white square sports modish rounded edges and corners, housing an asymmetrical void within which a coffee cup can be placed. A thick metal cylinder penetrates the side of the Nespresso Coffee Machine completely, administering the rich flavor of roasted beans into your mug.
