Convertible Explorer Kitchenettes
The N1 Kitchen Concept Caters to a Journeying Job Description

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Dec 2, 11
{SummaryTitle}

With the camera men and researchers in mind who work for an organization or an institution like National Geographic, the designers of the N1 Kitchen concept strove to conceive a compact culinary environment that would operate independently of its surroundings. Anyone with a nomadic occupation that requires him to set up camp for a number of months in remote locations will appreciate the benefits that this system affords.

Kyle Thacker worked with Sarah Fung to piece together a fully functional kitchenette that packs away into a storage container with wheels. When folded out, the N1 Kitchen features pot-adjustable stovetop elements which are free of any knobs, a hi-tech portion-rationing cutting board and cupboard doors that gradually turn transparent as food supplies run low.
