Crowdsourced Film Editing
The London Project Movie was Created With Little to No Budget

By: Patrick Walsh (Potential) Jun 13, 11
{SummaryTitle}

The amount of money used to create the effects-filled and dramatic The London Project movie was shockingly low as its producers used a crowdsourced platform for the editing of the film.

Filled with more than 780 advanced computer-generated effects throughout, The London Project was created through the work of individuals in the Blender Community, one which was created under the Blender website, a crowd-coded 3D package.

It is a testament to the new age of collaborative film-making, showing how although the Internet initially is viewed largely as a negative for independent film-makers, it does still have a positive aspect. If you’re waiting on The London Project to make its debut, you’ll have to wait until midsummer.
