Spotlights are often some of them most bland-looking ceiling fixtures, so the concept of the MOONo Tracking Light truly seems out of this world. Designed to be mounted on a rail within a line of several of its sort, the avant-garde illuminator leaves no corner in the darkness.
Unlike most lighting systems, this one has a remarkable range of motion made possible by a ball-shaped hub and a connected ring. The sphere can rotate 360 degrees horizontally around the axis of its suspension, while the hoop guides the bulb, up and down, left and right.
But Kate Pashinova’s concept was not simply about direction, for the MOONo Tracking Light is equipped with an intensity-controlling mechanism. By twisting the base of the fixture, the user can create anything from a direct to a diffuse beam.
