Fragmented Facade Mirrors
The Mischertraxler Layered Me Mirror Features Overlapping Reflections

By: Tia Clarke (Star) Mar 30, 13
{SummaryTitle}

The Mischertraxler Layered Me Mirror is a contemporarily designed mirror which features overlapping squares. The design creates interesting fragmented images, whether it is a person looking at their reflection or simply reflecting the scene of the room. The beautifully designed modern mirror is mounted on a solid oak frame, which makes it perfect for perching on a mantelpiece or tabletop. The mirrors can also be taken out from the slot and turned around if you want to switch things up.

The designers say they wanted to create a mirror that reflected the nature of people’s multifaceted personalities. Another neat thing about this mirror is that if it is placed near a window, it will reflect natural light across the room. I think it’s interesting to see designers taking a traditional home decor item and redesigning it for modern living.
