Crossville, Tennessee, is home to the Minister’s Treehouse, a church and also the world’s largest treehouse.
It took nearly 11 years to complete and minister Horace Burgess built it without a blueprint. This stunning structure soars 100 feet in the air and spreads over seven trees. Its interior space takes up roughly 10,000 square feet. The trees jut out through the floors and windows with greenery that embraces both the exterior and interior space.
These photographs were snapped by photographer Kristin Sweeting who took a recent trip to this spectacular tree dwelling. The photographs do not show the interior space but within the Minister’s Treehouse is a four-story swing set. Sunday morning church-goers won’t be hesitating about going to church now.
