Element5 is a Swiss company that has created a new eco-friendly bag/case/charger for the Apple iPad. The Mini L Solarbag is a handbag designed to charge your iPod/iPhone/iPad using the power of the sun.

The Mini L Solarbag looks like any other regular satchel, except for the solar panels on its front flap. These panels pull energy from the sun—energy that can then be used to charge your iPad to 50% power in three hours. While the charging time and look of the Mini L Solarbag aren’t astounding, it is nice to see a solar-powered gadget-charger that can also double as a man bag or netbook case in a pinch.
