I have posted about a few photographers who document real life, but it has to be said that Maxim Ryazansky has tackled some of the most controversial subjects.

Maxim Ryazansky literally travels the US and takes photographs of life as it is, warts and all. In contrast to many other artists, Maxim Ryazansky believes there is no one not worthy of having their photograph taken, no matter how questionable their views.

The bravery of the photographer comes through as Ryazansky lets images of very extreme personalities, from anti-gay fundamentalists to Klu Klux Klan members, do all the talking.
