'The Majestic Plastic Bag' Ups Awareness & Support for Plastic Bag Ban Bill

‘The Majestic Plastic Bag’ mocumentary is a satirical look at the lifecycle of a plastic bag. It enumerates survival strategies and threats that the plastic bag encounters in ‘the wild.’ The video is produced by activist group Heal the Bay in support of California’s plastic bag ban, bill AB 1998.

The video reminds me of the plastic bag scene in the film, American Beauty, in which the Ricky Fitts character says, “I realized there was an entire life behind things.” The Majestic Plastic Bag is a revelation of the life behind the common on-the-street plastic bag and is a must-see for those who want to raise plastic bag awareness and increase support for plastic bag bans everywhere.
