Rope-Climbing Clothes Racks
The MagicBeans Coat Hanger Merges Fiction and Friction

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Jul 5, 11
{SummaryTitle}

The old tale of Jack and the Beanstalk incites such fantasy of skyscraping vine stems that puncture the clouds, and the charm of that childhood story can actually be recreated in your front foyer with the installation of the MagicBeans Coat Hanger.

Designer Max Battaglia has used the very simple method of entrusting friction to hold his suspended figurines in place along six dangling green strings. While one appendage is used as a pendant clothes peg, the tiny white human sculptures have ducts drilled through the other extended arm and down and out the opposite foot. The turn in the rope’s passage makes person stay fixed to the cord once weight has been place onto him, yet the MagicBeans Coat Hanger character can be slid up and down the cable to climb the stalks when executed with ease.
