'Made in Mimbre' Puts a Spin on Your Grandmother's Wicker

‘Made in Mimbre’ is a Chilean company that aims to create quality designs that reflect the country’s identity and traditions of craftsmenship.

Head Designer Cristian Dominguez likes to use “common” materials and put a spin on the objects in order to create modern pieces of design. For instance, mimbre, a plant fiber similar to wicker, is a material present in over 80% of Chilean homes. Made in Mimbre presents two cookie cutter-shaped magazine racks: “Revistero C” and “Revistero X.”
