Sustainable Football Stadiums
New Los Angeles NFL Stadium Will Be LEED Certified

{SummaryTitle}

Los Angeles could be the home of the world’s first LEED certified football stadium as soon as 2011, and it’s a pretty exciting plan. Designed by global architecture firm Aedas, the 75,000 seat Los Angeles NFL Stadium will utilize up to 40% less steel during the build, and includes carbon dioxide-reducing initiatives.

The venue also has huge potential for retail, entertainment and recreational facilities, and also meets Super Bowl host qualifications. Let’s hope that the Los Angeles NFL Stadium has a team by then. A good bet would be the Jaguars or the Bills.
