Eco-Friendly Leaf Art
Lorenzo Duran Creates Work Out of Leaves for a Campaign

By: Sarah Nazim (Star) May 4, 12

These amazing handcrafted leaf designs were created by Lorenzo Duran for a company called ‘Plant for the Planet,’ which is an eco-friendly business that is trying to save the planet from harmful emissions. Hence, the focus of the campaign led by Legas Delaney are leafs.

The purpose of the campaign is to show that leafs absorb carbon dioxide by depicting pollutants such as airplanes, auto-mobiles and factories. The carved-out leaves display these images, and make viewers think about this object’s impact.

In order to create the designs on the leaves, a lot of delicate care and precision was required to create these eye-catching pieces. This campaign goes to show that pictures often speak louder than words. By combining an unusual artistic spin to the Plant for the Planet campaign, designers send their message clearly.
