Doubling the size of the second-place installation, the Longwood Gardens green wall and its 4,072 square feet of leafy vegetative life is is being unveiled in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA.
Developed by GSky and comprised of 47,000 plants, the Longwood Gardens green wall is capped by an expansive greenhouse roof. Capable of eliminating about 15,500 pounds of toxins and dust from the air within the East Conservatory Plaza, the lush self-irrigating walls are the definition of sustainable interiors.
