Lightbulb-Heated Kettles
Estelle Sauvage's Teapot Doubles as a Conversation-Starting Lamp

{SummaryTitle}

This inventive kettle was designed by Estelle Sauvage, who uses a light bulb installed in a teapot to heat water.  I’m unsure of what is more cool, the design or the function, but it is nevertheless very interesting.

The light bulb is not enough to bring the water to a boil, but can get warm enough for tea.  Although the water cannot be boiled, the kettle makes for a great lamp piece—or just a great design piece that can be admired.
