My next Verizon Wireless upgrade can’t come soon enough after seeing the LG Optimus 3D. The LG Optimus 3D is LG’s latest smartphone designed to play 3D content glasses-free.

This is huge! Up until now, 3D seemed to be a cool gimmick that was limited to those who had the money to afford the expensive tech and the curtains to hide the shame associated with wearing 3D glasses. However, LG is now making 3D available to anyone with a phone plan, which should help to spur the popularity of 3D movies, camcorders and more.
