Seventies-Inspired Denim Lookbooks
Levi's Rekindles Its Youth in the Orange Tab collection

By: Emilie Picillo (Superstar) Sep 5, 13

Levi’s Orange Tab collection takes us on a trip back to the seventies, no pomp and frills.

Levi’s released their orange tab collection this summer, and it includes their original styles of bell bottoms, denim shirts jackets and pants in their original manufacturing outlets in the states. Everything is exactly the same: the style, production, location, price and hairstyles. This line was co-produced with Cone Mills and in the 70s was considered the less expensive alternative to other workwear brands.

This collection lives and breathes the All-American summer, and who would’ve thought bell-bottoms could be so charming? I love the old fashion vintage feel, as if you slip on the jeans and are immediately transported to the seventies. The idea is very original, and I love that big name brands like Levi’s take the opportunity to revisit the years that began their prosper.
