Joy the Baker’s ‘Lavender Lemonade’ recipe infuses the sweet beverage with floral notes. She used dried bits of lavender to create this simple albeit posh concoction, and though it is alcohol free, vodkas or gins can make for interesting cocktails at end of summer events this year.
Crushed up lavender was steeped in a vat of water, honey and sugar for this Joy the Baker-endorsed recipe. According to the blog, honey was added for flavor while the sugar let on the warm amber shades. All in all the mix is made to be aromatic, as is the case with most lavender products.
Freshly squeezed lemonade with a dash of ice tea were infused with the lavender brew, a simple step required of this light fragrant drink.
