Larry Burns Provides a Preview of the Next Generation's Hydrogen Vehicles

In this keynote, Vice President for research and development at General Motors, Larry Burns, provides the audience with an in-depth look into the future of cars. He begins his speech by discussing the future of cars in terms of numbers, estimating that soon 1.1 billion cars will be in operation around the world. Because of this, it is fundamental that the design of cars become more efficient and healthy for the environment.

Larry Burns then shares a video with the audience, which highlights a variety of the innovative new features of the company’s Hydrogen-powered cars. As the video and Larry Burns explain, the cars of the future will run off sustainable hydrogen generated by electricity and a specific computer software that will maximize their efficiency and lifespan. He also demonstrates how these cars will conserve power when idles and how they can be recharged in owners’ driveways.
