This DIY lace lighting idea is perfect for individuals who love to switch up the decor of their home to complement the season but are a tad short on cash. Decorating a house for each and every season or holiday can really add up, but this alternative—which includes a light bulb, a doily and some metallic markers or spray paint—is the easiest and most chic solution.
To create this charming metallic, lace-like light, all you need to do is color a doily gold or metallic (or any other color for that matter) and once it is completely dry, attach it around a light bulb. The result is a beautiful, shimmering light that will cast an unexpectedly pretty shadow on your walls.
