A series of comedic ads promoting Krisview CCTV feature people hiding from their oppressors behind their backs. Each ad has a different scenario where a person gleefully hides behind the back of the person searching for them. One ad shows a burglar stuck to the back of a police officer. Another has a worker sleeping behind his supervisor’s back. The tagline “No more blind spots” is written next to the humorous visuals.
The print ads were conceived and implemented by ad agency JWT Indonesia. JWT promoted Krisview by presenting scenarios where the surveillance system could be useful. By featuring scenes where the hider is literally behind the seeker’s back, the ad agency is creating a sense of frustration in the viewer.
