It’s common to be startled by icy cold or scorching hot water gushing out of the faucet and onto your hands—an experience that can be avoided through the use of the Koeda Intuitive Mixer Tap.

This modern sink fixture concept incorporates a sleek dial into its design, allowing you to modify the temperature of the water with better accuracy. But most significantly, Shan Shan Wang’s project features a thin illuminating strip around the knob, embedded with six LED lights.

As you adjust the feel of the flow to your preference and as the stream regularizes, the brilliant ring of the Koeda Intuitive Mixer Tap changes color. It displays a spectrum from light blue to bright red to demonstrate to the user the temperature he should expect on his skin.
