Designer Alessandra Pasetti created the ‘Knit Knot’ seating series for Italian furniture manufacturer Area Declic. The Knit Knot seating series was first presented at the Salone del Mobile 2010, whose design competition theme was ‘Only For Women.’

Alessandra Pasetti claims that the intricate blue chairs are representative of the cathartic activity of knitting, though the backs resemble that childhood string game of cat’s cradle. ‘Knit Knot’ is handmade using gradient-coloured PVC thread and gives off an air of subtle femininity.
