You might first wonder what sorts of activities can be accomplished on the Klippen Klappen Desk. It’s so tiny! The clever mechanics of the carefully crafted escritoire do, however, hide a little surprise inside.

The cute wooden carrel can be slid forwards, backwards and open to expose a lower tray for laptop, a shallow cubby for storage, a box where writing utensils can be kept and a lid on which notes and pictures can be stuck. It’s quite the elaborate setup considering the close-packed dimensions.
