Trashy Wildlife Safaris
Kenyan Artists Use Recycled Materials to Build Sculptures of Animals

By: Rose Nazarali (Rockstar) Oct 4, 09
{SummaryTitle}

A group of Kenyan artists have gathered together to build sculptures of wildlife animals from recycled materials. Not only are they using eco-friendly methods, they are using materials that have been polluted and are harming the animals they are building.

The first of this project is the Whale Shark which was made entirely from discarded flip-flops found on the coast of Kenya. The second project is an elephant made from snares used to kill animals.

This project is a great way to raise awareness and help clean up the pollution in Kenya.
